Miners Hand Jackrabbits Third Straight Loss

The West Virginia Miners (25-14) defeated the Kokomo Jackrabbits 6-1 Wednesday night at Kokomo Municipal Stadium. Kokomo is now 20-20 on their season.

The Jackrabbits tied the game 1-1 in the first inning after #3 Mark Zimmerman (Baldwin College University) scored.

West Virginia rallied in the fourth, picking up four runs to take the lead, 5-1. The Miners then scored again in the 8th to extend their lead, 6-1.
Player of the Game honors went to #20 Shea Molitor (Valparaiso University) for hitting a double and a single in Wednesday's game. 

The Danville Dans (21-16) will be in Kokomo Thursday, July 15th at 6:35 p.m. to complete the America Rocks home stand at Kokomo Municipal Stadium. The Indianapolis Colts Traveling Museum “Colts in Motion” will be at the stadium for fans to enjoy at 5:30 p.m.
