KOKOMO, IND- Thriller night ends in walk-off fashion in front of a near record breaking crowd at Kokomo Municipal Stadium.

Jackrabbits starter Hunter Lee had a solid outing on the mound. He went five innings without allowing an earned run. He gave up just four hits and struck out five Aviator batters. Konecek was stellar in two and a third innings of relief. Six of his seven outs came via the strikeout including five in a row. Chase Nix earned the win for the Jackrabbits collecting two outs in the top of the tenth without allowing a baserunner.

Lambert and Walters were key cogs in tonight’s offensive performance as they each collected three hits. Walters got hit number 72 on the year, a new Jackrabbits record for hits in a season. Increasing his average to an impressive .329. Lambert led off the bottom of the tenth with a base hit and later scored the winning run for the Jackrabbits courtesy of a bases loaded single from the Coke Player of the Game, Tavon Lindsay.

Tomorrow (August 4th) will be the last home game of the regular season for the Jackrabbits. They will host the Champion City Kings during Fan Appreciation Night at Kokomo Municipal Stadium. First pitch will be at 6:35 and will be a seven inning make-up game.
