MKE Sports & Entertainment is excited to announce the Kokomo Jackrabbits 2015schedule, game times and some of the talented college players that will make up the 2015 roster.
The Kokomo Jackrabbits will open up their inaugural Prospect League season on the road vs. the Terra Haute Rex, Wednesday, May 27th. The team will then travel to Quincy, IL for two game series vs. Quincy Gems, Thursday, May 28th and Friday, May 29th. TheKokomo Jackrabbits will take on the Danville Dans Home Opening weekend, Saturday, May 30th, 7:05pm and Sunday, May 31st, 3:05pm at Kokomo Municipal Stadium.
The 2015 Jackrabbits schedule features a number of weekend games for Kokomo-area baseball fans to enjoy, including five Friday (7:05pm) home games, five Saturday (7:05pm) home games and six Sunday (3:05pm) home games. Get Jacked for Wednesday and Thursday Night Baseball this season as four Wednesday (6:35pm) home games and seven Thursday (6:35pm) home games will bring the Prospect League’s best to Kokomo Municipal Stadium.
The Jackrabbits will be on the road every week of the Prospect League season with the longest road trip being seven games between Wednesday, July 22nd and Wednesday, July 29th. The team will wrap up the regular season at home with a two game series against the Springfield Sliders Wednesday, August 5th (6:35pm) and Thursday, August 6th (6:35pm). And he's a winner- he won three state championships in baseball and one in football in high school. I couldn't be happier about bringing Chris on board.”

"I am extremely excited to be part of the first Kokomo Jackrabbits collegiate summer baseball team,” said Fleming. “To get the opportunity to play for a new team in a beautiful new facility is awesome. I feel it is a great opportunity to meet new coaches and players from different parts of the country. My goals are to be a good teammate, to become a better player, to represent the Jackrabbits and the community in a positive way, and to help our team win games."
“Ryan is a versatile lefty pitcher from Rutgers,” said Kokomo Jackrabbits Field Manager Greg Van Horn. “I expect him to be a fixture in our rotation and he has the ability to come out of the bullpen if needed. He is a workhorse and a huge asset to our pitching staff. We are excited to have him on board."

I think no matter what level of baseball you play, whether it be little league, professional or here in the Prospect League, the goal is to win and win at a high level. “Sal is a Brooklyn N.Y kid and will bring that tough New York mentality to our team,” saidKokomo Jackrabbits Field Manager Greg Van Horn. “He's a competitor and plays the game hard and fast. He was conference player of the year last year in a tough NCAA Division III conference and we expect him to be a force in the middle of our lineup.”

"He's a strong, physical kid with a quick bat and a great glove. He can move around the infield if we need him to, but we expect him to be our third baseman right from the start. Shea is a perfect fit for our club and we are excited to have him on board.”

“Mark is an impressive talent,” said Kokomo Jackrabbits Field Manager Greg Van Horn. “He will be a staple in our middle infield and one of our better arms out of the bullpen. Mark just played in the College World Series for Baldwin Wallace and we are excited for him to bring that winning tradition to our team. We will look for him to be one of our leaders and he will be a very important part of our team.”

"I'm extremely excited to be a Jackrabbit and play at one of the top amateur baseball venues in the country this summer,” said Coughlin. “I can't wait to see what this new organization has to offer. Hopefully we can hit the ground running, bring a championship to Kokomo, Indiana and help bring baseball back to this historic town."
"Charlie brings another dangerous bat to the middle of our lineup,” said KokomoJackrabbits Field Manager Greg Van Horn. “He is a primary first baseman with the ability to play the outfield if needed. Charlie is a high character guy who works extremely hard on his craft and he brings a great personality to our clubhouse. We are extremely excited to have him on board.”

"I am really excited to be a Jackrabbit,” said Klenk. “I'm going to be able to play close to home and have a great fan base. It's going to be fun playing against guys from all over! It will be a great opportunity to see more pitching and improve my game over the summer!"

He is going to be a huge asset to us at the top of the lineup and we are really excited to have him on board."

“I am thrilled to be a part of the Jackrabbits for their inaugural season,” said Freeman. “I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to go out to Kokomo this summer. My goal is to bring the Jackrabbits their first Prospect League championship.”
“Milo brings a lot to the table,” said Kokomo Jackrabbits Field Manager Greg Van Horn. “He is a middle infielder with the ability to play several positions and he can really swing the bat. He is a tough, competitive kid who plays the game the right way and is going to do whatever it takes to help us win games. He will be a huge asset for us and I am really excited to have him on board.”
