Join the Jackrabbits in The Great Outdoors With a Camp Out, Movie & More

Grab some s’mores, flannel shirts, and flashlights as you head out to Kokomo Municipal Stadium for the Jackrabbits latest home stand, “The Great Outdoors.” Fans can enjoy an exciting series against three talented opponents while exploring their outdoor adventure side.

Saturday night the home stand kicks off with a game against the East Division leading, West Virginia Miners. First pitch is slated for 7:05 pm.

Immediately following the game, there is a special “Camp Out and Movie” event for all fans in attendance. Jackrabbits fans have the opportunity to camp out on the field for the night and take in the classic baseball movie “The Sandlot.” The concession stand will remain open during the movie for fans to purchase food and beverages.

Sunday afternoon welcomes in a new opponent for the Jackrabbits. The Danville Dans march into town on a hot streak and two games ahead of Kokomo in the West Division standings. First pitch is at 3:05 pm. Fans 15 and under will receive a Jackrabbits aluminum sport water bottle, while supplies last.

The Springfield Sliders coast into town on Tuesday night to close out “The Great Outdoors” home stand. Springfield is just a game and a half behind Kokomo and looks to make up ground while on the road. First pitch from Kokomo Municipal Stadium is scheduled for 6:35 pm. Jackrabbits fans can enjoy an inflatable rock wall before the game to show off their climbing skills.

Fans will enjoy a free “s’mores cookie” from the Gingerbread House Bakery at each game during “The Great Outdoors” home stand. Limit one per ticket holder, while supplies last.

Camp Out and Movie FAQ:

-Campers can access the play area until the movie begins.

-Stadium bathrooms will be open for use.

-Concourse will be open after the game.

-The concessions stand will be open for fans with a limited menu.

-There are absolutely no carry-ins for food or drink.

-No tents with stakes are allowed on the field as it is a turf field and stakes would damage it.

-Ticket holders for the July 18 game only, are allowed to attend this event.

-Fans must bring in their camping gear once the game has concluded. Make sure to present your ticket for reentry into the stadium.

-No food or drink is allowed on the field. Please eat and drink in the stands and concourse only.

-All fans under the age of 18, must have parental supervision.

-Kokomo kindly asks all fans to be up and out of the stadium no later than 8:30 am on Sunday.
