Cavemen Claim Victory in Kokomo

The Kokomo Jackrabbits (20-19) fell to the Hannibal Cavemen (9-25) Tuesday night at Kokomo Municipal Stadium. The Cavemen came out on top with a 2-1 win.
 
 #8 CJ Price (Washington University in St. Louis) put the Jackrabbits on the board after scoring in the fourth inning, tying the game 1-1.

The Cavemen picked up another run in the sixth, taking the lead, 2-1.
 
#23 Sal Taormina (Kean University) was named Player of the Game after hitting a double and a single.

The West Virginia Miners (24-14) will be in Kokomo on Wednesday, July 15th at 6:35 p.m. while the Jackrabbits continue their America Rocks home stand. Fans will receive a free bomb pop at the game in honor of the event.
